Terms of Reference
Responsibilities and Powers
The Education Board is delegated the following responsibilities and powers by the Council of the Institute.
- To develop Education Strategy – working with other Boards of Council as appropriate - and the recommendation of strategy within the available resources to Council for their consideration and agreement.
- To develop policy in areas directly relevant to Education – working with other Boards of Council as appropriate - and the recommendation of policy to Council for their consideration and agreement.
- To advise on the Education Programme of Activities to achieve the goals and strategy agreed by Council, working with other Boards of the Council as appropriate.
- To report to Council on the progress of the Education Programme in delivering on the Strategy.
- Any other specific delegated powers agreed by Council.
