Terms of Reference

Responsibilities and Powers
The Education Board is delegated the following responsibilities and powers by the Council of the Institute.

  1. To develop Education Strategy – working with other Boards of Council as appropriate - and the recommendation of strategy within the available resources to Council for their consideration and agreement.
  2. To develop policy in areas directly relevant to Education – working with other Boards of Council as appropriate - and the recommendation of policy to Council for their consideration and agreement.
  3. To advise on the Education Programme of Activities to achieve the goals and strategy agreed by Council, working with other Boards of the Council as appropriate.
  4. To report to Council on the progress of the Education Programme in delivering on the Strategy.
  5. Any other specific delegated powers agreed by Council.
